You get exactly one life. Make it brave and wild.
Collect memories, not regrets.

You get exactly one life. Make it brave and wild.

Don’t say, “Maybe one day.” Say “Yes!

Come to Africa. Plant your feet on sacred ground. Inhale the scent of grass and rain. Release the tensions and distractions of your busy routine back at home. Take the deepest breaths you’ve taken in ten years. Feel your pulse pound as lions prowl from behind jagged rocks. Sip a crisp gin and tonic while elephants stroll past your deck. Hop on the back of a Jeep and race towards the horizon. Get your boots covered in red dirt. Feel completely, wildly alive.

If you’ve always dreamed of seeing Africa, this is your invitation. This is not a vacation. It’s a journey that will transform your life.

Why Phinda?

Why Phinda?

The word Phinda means
“the Return.”

Visiting the Phinda Lodge in Kwazulu-Natal feels like returning home. Home to yourself. Home to your ancestral land. Home to the place where humanity first began.

When you arrive, the first thing you’ll notice is the incredible tranquility. No honking horns. No buzzing and beeping. There’s a type of “quiet” that’s unlike anywhere else on earth.

There’s magic and power, too—a vibration in the ground that you can feel the moment you arrive. It’s a feeling that’s difficult to express in words. People come to Phinda and they leave transformed.

The Phinda Lodge is an award-winning boutique hotel and wildlife preserve. The property has received prestigious awards for conversation, sustainability, and ethical business practices. You’ll experience an exceptionally high level of care and thoughtfulness expressed in every detail of your stay.
